Umpqua Bank and Ecotrust are excited to welcome the Portland Cello Project with Adam Shearer tomorrow evening (Wednesday, July 17) as we continue the 2013 Sundown series. Join us from 5:30pm-8:30pm for an all-ages dance party and learn more about the night’s theme of Reimagining ENERGY.
The “Sundown Kid’s Corner” hosted by PDX Kids Calendar, will have art and educational activities to keep the little rockers happy. Cold frothy beverages and tasty local fare will be provided by Hot Lips Pizza, Laughing Planet, and Coconut Bliss. Described as a farmers market of ideas, our street fair-style exhibition features an inspiring array of nonprofits, businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions who are delivering inventive solutions within conservation and environmentally-responsible enterprises. Bike commuters will be rewarded with a free bike valet on-site.
From investing in local organizations to creating lively gathering spaces, Umpqua Bank is committed to supporting what its customers value most–their communities. Umpqua offers a range of financial services to both families and businesses, often providing resources to community members working to secure an ecologically and economically stable future. Their GreenStreet Lending program funds innovative projects that take on pertinent social and environmental issues, such as clean energy and energy efficiency. Umpqua is also an enthusiastic sponsor of events that celebrate community and foster a sense of ecological stewardship, and we are happy to have their support for our Sundown Concert Series.
