Nonprofits have a tough enough time already with raising revenue for the organization without having to account for it properly. Confusing accounting rules and requirements as well as donor or contract requirements further complicate how to record and recognize revenue in their financial statements. In this learning session from Nonprofit Association of Oregon, attendees will learn to identify key elements of recognizing revenue specific to nonprofit organizations as well as how to become familiar with new changes in the industry. Attendees will have real-world examples and case studies to discover practical solutions to apply to their own organizations.
