Attn: Measurement and Evaluation Analyst

Summary:

Who we are

Ecotrust creates and accelerates triple-bottom-line innovations to benefit our region and inspire the world. On the farm, at the coast, in the forest, and across our cities, we work in partnership towards an equitable, prosperous, climate-smart future. Our home is Salmon Nation, the region from California to Alaska that holds productive lands and determined people. We recognize the legacy of colonialism and the deep inequities of this place, and we believe that radical, practical change is possible and necessary. Since 1991, we have created durable change and sparked ideas across the globe.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a curious, motivated, and detail-oriented professional to help us understand and measure the changes we seek to make in the world. The Measurement and Evaluation Analyst (the Analyst) will work closely with teams across the organization to collect, track, analyze, and report organization-wide key performance indicators (KPIs). The Analyst will work within the Knowledge Systems team, and report to and collaborate closely with the Director of Economic Research and Evaluation (the Director). The Analyst will assist the Director and program staff in creating annual plans for organization-wide outcome data collection and impact reporting; and identifying deeper-level program evaluation needs. The Analyst will support program and organization-wide strategic planning, including specifically the centering of social and racial equity outcomes in the strategic planning process. Finally, the Analyst will work to support data analysis and evaluation projects for external clients including public agencies, other nonprofits, foundations, tribes, mission-aligned private companies, and others. The Analyst’s work will support Ecotrust’s organization-wide strategy, including our progress towards our two key imperatives: building racial equity and responding to climate change.

This is a full-time position covering the Pacific Northwest, based out of Portland, and requires occasional travel.
