At Ecotrust, I lead strategic programming and manage operations for the Redd on Salmon campus and the Natural Capital Center, integrating program, event, and property management with community coordination and food value-chain initiatives to build lasting community assets that advance Ecotrust’s mission. I hold an MFA in creative writing and an MSc in ethnobotany, and my career spans operations and events management at iconic Portland food and beverage establishments and communications leadership across nonprofit and corporate sectors. My early childhood in Puerto Rico instilled a lifelong love for our natural world and all the ways humans are in relationship with it. I’m inspired by the vibrancy of Portland’s food culture and the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, finding joy in perusing farmers markets, walks in Forest Park, trips to the coast, and teaching my young daughter to identify and name the plants around us.
