Suzie O'Neill

As the Coordinator for the Coastal Communities and Fisheries Team at Ecotrust, I support project and budget management for our work in fisheries, food systems, mariculture, and Tribal stewardship along the West Coast. Before joining Ecotrust, I worked on an oyster farm and later served as the West Coast Ocean Alliance Fellow for the Aquaculture Team at NOAA Fisheries. My background has shaped how I view coastal food systems: as an interconnected landscape of people, land, and sea that can support vibrant fisheries and sustainable mariculture and agriculture. Outside of work, I enjoy playing music with friends (I’m usually on drums!), supporting local musicians, and spending time outside with others.
