Keia Booker

Senior People & Culture Operations Manager

A budding abolitionist, I share my commitment to dismantling systemic oppression and embedding radical ways to invest in staff so that, through their work in communities and with partners, they are supported in spreading holistic and anti-racist change. As a Black cis-woman from the Midwest, I use my lived experience, having exposure to navigating multiple cities and countries as a child of an Air Force officer and Registered Nurse, as well as skills in building community and sustainable outcomes in the environmental field as a call to action. Whether at Ecotrust, the hospitality sector, or my own business, there is a through-line of radical care that is centered on the hope that fractals of reparations, kindness, and compassion are replicated throughout the organization, particularly for frontline communities, and the larger collective.
