Sara Telzer

Sara served as our Director of Grants and Funder Impact from 2022 to 2024.

In my role, I delight in collaborating across Ecotrust’s teams to support our programmatic and organizational impact through grants development work. Broadly, my interests and career have focused on leading fundraising strategies, developing social enterprises, supporting regenerative agricultural and food equity initiatives, and implementing environmental education programs. Although I am from California, I also have roots in Portland—a place my great grandparents immigrated to. In my free time, I find joy in making beautiful things out of earth at the pottery studio, exploring the beautiful places of the West, and actively engaging with my community’s food system.
