Michelle, Event Planner

Michelle has two origins: one in the San Fernando Valley of Southern California, where she was born and lived most of her life, and the second in Tai Koo Hong Kong, where she was raised by grandparents she visited frequently. She thinks a lot about what home and community building mean to her and how she can contribute to resilient and active communities. She is passionate about analyzing social movements, criminal justice reform, and foodscapes. To relax, she grounds herself in caring for plants, cooking, and finding inspiration in different forms of art.

Kaley, Wedding and Events Manager

Kaley grew up on the Central Coast of California in the small farming and wine town of Paso Robles. She loves the coast, the mountains, the desert, and anything food and wine related. She spent a couple of years in France perfecting her wine knowledge, where she met her husband and convinced him to come back to the United States with her. Two years ago, after living in Georgia and California, they settled in Portland. Kaley has two spirited little boys who push her to be more patient and kind every day. Kaley loves everything wedding related. She is excited to be part of the welcoming and collaborative wedding and events community in Portland.

Jenna, Events Logistics Manager

Jenna grew up in Northern California, in the Bay Area and Humboldt County. She spent her childhood days on the river, at the beach, and in the Redwoods. During her teen years she was involved in 4H, where she rescued and raised farm animals and learned about Big Ag. While at school and while working in Portland kitchens, she become passionate about the origins of our food. This led her to work on production, educational, and permaculture farms in Oregon, Italy, and Southeast Asia. Most recently, she managed events for nonprofits and organized large-scale sustainability conferences. You can still find her in the kitchen, chasing the sun and water, and organizing with the Cully Food and Farm Alliance.
