I am a farmer, floral designer, and entrepreneur. I am passionate about sustainable local food systems and agriculture. From my creative background and passion for growing flowers and plants, my business Aster & Gum was established in 2020. Access to land is a huge barrier to BIPOC communities, and I strive to lead by example using sustainable practices, intensive farming methods, and containers to get the most out of my urban microfarm. Community is so important to me, and I am proud and excited to participate in an experience with the ultimate goal of enriching our communities and connecting with others over food and farming.
