Meet the Farm to Early Care and Education Advisory Committee
“
That’s what we do as early educators: We plant these seeds and send them off, and hope that they grow into these beautiful blossoming trees.
We meet monthly, we do trainings. We do a one-on-one consultation or coaching, where I either do that virtually or I go into the program and support them with some goals.
What are aspects of your work that you enjoy the most?
I see one of those ways as starting with the children and getting them engaged, and then that gets the families engaged, and then ultimately your communities, and then hopefully that changes the landscape of the spaces you’re in.

[Our classes] have been very inspirational and given me hope for the future. Because my own daughter’s in that classroom, it’s just really nice seeing everything they do for my kid. If more classrooms could be like this, what a difference it would make.
Thank you to Natalie Gordon for sharing her time and wisdom as a member of the Farm to Early Childhood Education Advisory Committee.
