Niyati Desai

At Ecotrust, I lead strategy for cultivating and stewarding foundation partners to support our operations, infrastructure and programmatic initiatives across our bioregion. Prior to joining Ecotrust, I’ve designed and led community impact initiatives to address systemic inequities through research, education, and community outreach. My goal is to center and uplift the wisdom, knowledge and expertise of our partners and communities to mobilize resources and advance equity. I am a first generation Indian American, born and raised on the east coast, and currently live in Northeast Portland with my family.
